Planning Your First Big Bike Tour

This workshop is all about making your dream bike tour a reality. Whether you are brand new to bicycle travel, or you've done a little but you have your eye on a great, big adventure — this workshop is for you. After 5 years of planning and executing my own bike tours (you can check them out on YouTube), and working as staff on supported bike tours, I'm putting everything I wish I'd known at the start into one course, to help you get out on your trip sooner.

When you think of this bicycle adventure you want to have, many questions may come to your mind and keep you from heading off. Questions like:

• What bike should I bring?
• What bags do I choose?
• What do I pack?
• How do I plan my routes?
• Where will I sleep every night?
• What do I need to think about when travelling internationally?
• What about budget?

This course will help you answer all of those questions and more. We'll talk about bikes, bags, gear, route planning, safety precautions, helpful apps, taking care of your body, and on the list goes. I'll also provide you with resources, worksheets and guided prompts to really lay down a plan for your big adventure.

My goal is to give you a clear path to take you from dreamer to doer.
